UTS International Research Scholarships (UTS IRS) in Australia, 2015-2016
University of Technology is appealing the applications for international research scholarships (IRS) to eligible applicants who show their exceptional research potential. The UTS IRS just covers the tuition fee for the time period of almost two years for a Research Master’s degree and three years for a Research Doctorate degree. The maximum worth of an IRS in a year is equal to the assessed annual tuition fee, as stated in the Commonwealth Register of Institutions as well as Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) for the HDR being started by the aspirant.
Last date for application submission is 20th August 2015.

To be eligible for the scholarship the candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria:
o The candidate must be an international student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth); and
o Must purchase and maintain a standard OSHC policy accepted by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Ageing (DOHA); and
o Candidate must be registered as a full-time student; and
o Must be commencing study in a subject area recognized by the University as one of its areas of research concentration; and -not have completed a degree at the same or higher level as the anticipated candidature; and
o Must not receive a scholarship for which course tuition is a constituent under any other scholarship scheme.
