UHS issues 1st merit list & announced 2nd Professional result of BDS

  • University of Health Sciences was issued its first selection list of candidates on Wednesday admitted to (BDS) Bachelor of Dental Surgery in government dental colleges of the Punjab.
  • UHS has announced the result of Second Professional Bachelor of Dental Surgery final exams 2014.

Unsuccessful applicants can submit their admission forms by December 29.                                                                                                                                                         (UHS) The University of Health Sciences was issued its first selection list of candidates on Wednesday admitted to (BDS) Bachelor of Dental Surgery in government dental colleges of the Punjab.
According to a press release, the last merit for BDS stayed 85.4827 percent. The merit has been calculated as per the weightage formula of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), adding 10 percent of matric, 40 per cent of intermediate level and 50 percent of entering test marks.

Only those applicants who secured 82 percent or above aggregate marks as per PMDC formula were qualified to apply for the admission on open merit this year.
The last merit for de ’Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore is 85.5957 percent, Dental Section of Punjab Medical College Faisalabad 85.4838 percent, and for Nishtar Institute of Dentistry Multan was 85.4827 percent.
In government dental colleges of the province there are open 175 merit seats are available.
Classes in dental colleges will start on December 22. Another selection list for BDS will be showed on January 9.
BDS result: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced the result of Second Professional Bachelor of Dental Surgery final exams 2014. As stated to a press release issued here on Wednesday, overall of 640 competitors from 11 related to dental colleges looked in the exam out of which 454 passed and 170 unsuccessful. Result of 16 applicants was put on RL list. The total pass ratio remained 72.76 percent. Noor ul Ain, daughter of Bilal Arslan Mir, of Islam Dental College, Sialkot got top/first position obtaining 815/1000 marks. Eezzah Laraibe, daughter of Irfan Aslam, of Sharif Medical & Dental College Lahore and Eeshaa Ijaz, daughter of Muhammad Ijaz, of Nishtar Institution of Dentistry Multan got second and third positions securing 812/1000 and 808/1000 marks, correspondingly.

The unsuccessful applicants can submit their admission forms by December 29.
Supplementary examination will start with outcome from January 19, 2015.
