NUST distribute 200 graduates degrees in the disciplines of Chemical and Materials Engineering, Economics, Mass Communication and Public Administration at the joint undergraduate convocation of School of Chemical and Materials Engineering and School of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Above 200 graduates collect degrees in the disciplines of Chemical and Materials Engineering, Economics, National University of Sciences and Technology, Mass Communication and Public Administration at the joint undergraduate convocation of School of Chemical and Materials Engineering and School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The ceremony was graced by NUST Rector Muhammad Asghar as leading guest. Moreover parents, faculty and learners, a large number of eminent guests also existed at the event.
President’s Gold Medals for being the best in researchers were presented to Sadaf Basharat (Public Administration), Mehrunnisa Irfan (Chemical Engineering), Fizza Bangash (Mass Communication), Nadia Naseer (Materials Engineering), and Khaula Waqar Jhagra and Syed Rafay Mahmood (Economics).

nust-5001However Rector’s Gold Medals for the best projects were presented to Asjad Naeem Mukaddam (Chemical Engineering) and Hassan Zafar Khan (Materials Engineering).
On the event, Greatest Teacher Award and Best Academic Award for the year 2013 were also conferred upon Dr. Amir Habib (Material Engineering Department) and Dr. Habib Nasir (Chemical Engineering Department) respectively.
Though conveying the convocation speech, the NUST rector extended his compliments to the graduating apprentices, their parents and the faculty. He encouraged the students to keep growing in knowledge and professional know-how and give the society the best they could.
Previous, Principal SCME Dr. Mujahid and Principal S3H Dr. Ashfaque Hasan Khan greeted the viewers to the convocation. They also concisely shared the accomplishments of their respective schools.
