EREF Graduate Scholarships for Solid Waste Research in USA, 2015-2016

The Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) is appealing the applications for the graduate scholarships in solid waste management research as well as education. The applications will be deliberated from those who will be this year or is currently a full-time master’s aspirant, PhD student or postdoctoral researcher and also have a clearly demonstrated interest in solid waste management research. Full scholarships might not be granted to the aspirants who will be receiving full-tuition scholarships from other sources (not including direct university assistance like tuition remission or assistantship income) however may still be deliberated for partial awards.

These scholarships are available for chains full-time master’s student, doctoral student as well as the postdoctoral researcher.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applications will be deliberated from those who:

o   Will be this year or is presently a full-time master’s student, PhD student or post-doctoral researcher, and have a clearly demonstrated interest in solid waste management research.

o   EREF defines solid waste management to refer to municipal solid waste, creation & demolition waste, industrial waste (for example coal ash), WTE ash, etc. Note this definition does not involve agricultural wastes or wastewater treatment plant sludge.

o   All the qualified aspirants will be deliberated for scholarships without respect to race, religion, national or the ethnic origin, nationality, or disability as well. The applications from the aspirants outside the US or studying abroad will receive equal deliberation. The grant decisions by the Environmental Research and Education Foundation and its directors are final and not subject to appeal.
